The Limbe City Council has two wings: the Executive and Legislative wings respectively. The executive wing is made of the administrative services while the legislative wing (also known as the Board) is composed of elected senior councillors from the three sub divisional councils. Each sub divisional council has including the mayor six (6) senior councillors, making a total of eighteen 18 senior councillors. The board has presently four committees namely:Education, Finance, Resolutions and Works committees. The board meets twice yearly for the administrative accounts and budgetry sessions. The council is the deliberative organ that votes/amends deliberations of the City Council.
