Assessment Service Officer/Ewule Georgiana

Brief Explanation of the Day to Day Running of Service:

The assessment service does assessment on all taxes paid to the city Council, Limbe I, Limbe II and Limbe III Councils including FEICOM.
Payments of the assessed taxes are also being collected by the cashiers of the various councils
At the end of the day the COS add the various quittanciers making sure that the amount she receives is what the actual collection for the day before signing and closing the quinttanciers
The center sell comunual stamps and receive payment from other revenue collectors in the various councils.

Impact on Municipality (Quantitative and Qualitative):

Increase in Council revenue
The quantitative impact on the municipality is that the centre receives on a daily basis a good number of tax payers from all works of life.
The tax payers are attend to without any delayance as order is always maintained and respec given where it is due.

Vision for Municipality for the next five years:

The Vision for five years is that all tax payers being educated and sensitized on the various taxes they are to pay for operating businesses around the municipality.
They should also be reminded on the importance for them to pay their taxes and on time so as to avoid penalties for late payments.
