The Equipment Pool shall be under the authority of a service head (appointed by the Government Delegate) who shall be in charge of:

• Conceiving and implementing the general maintenance policy of moving objects and equipment used by City Council services.
• Programming and realisaton of maintenance works of vehicles, trucks, public works machines, equipment, machine accessories used by City Council services.
• Controlling use of materials and machines belonging to the City Council.
• Proposals for the scrapping of obsolete materials.
• Proposals for the acquisition of new materials.
• Managing stocks of spare parts and lubricants in collaboration with the Stores Accountant.
• Managing the premises of the garage.

The equipment pool shall comprise of 2 bureaus:

• A bureau for light equipment.
• A bureau for heavy equipment.
