All disputes in the Limbe City Council are chanelled to the Litigations Office. This service is under the control of a Litigations Officer with the rank of a service head, appointed by the Government Delegate. In this connection, his/her duties include:

1. Defend the interest of the City Council in all matters.
2. Prepare all documents in conformity with the law for the Government Delegate to sign or give his opinion.
3. Represent the Limbe City Council in court.
4. Provide legal advice on all matters concerning the City Council.
5. Ensure legality in all City Council commitments
6. Collect, file, exploit, distribute and follow up the implementation of all legislative and statutory texts.
7. Watch over all operations relating to the civil responsibility of the City Council and follow-up of damages to be repaid.
8. Any other duties assigned by the Government Delegate.
