The Public Relations and Communication Service is placed under the authority of the Public Relations Officer with the rank of Chief of Service. The job description of this service head include:

• The elaboration and implementation of the internal and external communication policy of the city council.
• Promoting the image of the city of Limbe
• The relations of the city council vis-a vis the media and in general, the public relations of the city council
• Publishing of the City Council magazine
• The conception and dissemination of particular messages of the Government Delegate and other council organs.
• Programming and organizing press conferences for the Government Delegate.
• The reception and accommodation of personalities visiting the council
• The public relations service shall constitute a bureau for communications and a bureau for cooperation and partnership.
