Engelbert’s Catholic Mission in Bonjongo built in 1892, which was the second missionary settlement for the Catholics in Cameroon after the Marienbeurg in Sanaga Maritime Division of Cameroon. There is also the Nachtigal cave situated at Down Beach Limbe. The Limbe Botanic garden

The City of Limbe has a Botanic garden which is the second best in Africa. It plays host to numerous specie of flora of which about 150 of the plants species cannot be found in any other part of the world. The garden was created by Dr. Preuss, a German who used it as a center for trial and acclimatization for exotic plant species. It is wonderful to always come and experience aspects of environmental harmony between man and nature. View more pictures of the Limbe Botanic Garden
